Bill & Ed

Billy Basshead and Eddie Trax were brought together by their mutual love of Hip-hop in 2013. They started experimenting with different sounds and techniques and soon realized they had a unique element of style and swagger to contribute to each other. Shortly after, the junglist DJ duo, Bill & Ed, was born.

Less than a year later, their first EP on Elm Imprint, "Yardman," was released. With full momentum, Bill & Ed continued to master their craft in the studio and on the decks. They quickly gained a reputation for crushing the dancefloor by opening for acts such as Bladerunner, Saxxon, Cabin Fever Uk, Bassline Smith, Liondub, Serial Killaz, Ed Solo, Quadrant, and Random Movement at various clubs, festivals, and events including the World of Drum and Bass and the Winter Music Conference in Miami.

Through hard work and dedication, Bill & Ed released their second EP, Duck for Cover,on Elm Imprint in 2017. Duck for Cover showcases their winning formula of dope Hip-hop samples, soulful vibes, hard hitting basslines, and features the lyrical blessing of Elijah Divine.

Without hesitation they followed up an already successfully EP with their best release to date on Dubsoul Recordings titled Take It To The Source. RMS’ label was spot on to pick up this collection of tunes which shows the evolution of Bill & Ed’s signature style to this point. Showing their versatility, this EP has a little something for everyone. From the dub wise title track Take It To The Source which is steeped in amens, heavy subs, and killer hip-hop samples, to the monster roller M.D.K., this well-rounded EP stands up with the major bad boys and showcases Bill & Ed’s ability to tap into the widening range of progressive DnB.

Currently they’ve released tunes on Deep In The Jungle alongside Dubsoul head honcho RMS and have new music forthcoming on Dutty Bass Audio, Juicy Fruit Recordings, Sonic Terror and Dubsoul Recordings along with several free bootlegs found on their Soundcloud page.

You can expect big tingz from this dynamic duo in the near future.
