This month's theme: Money. People say it's impolite to talk about, but (as far as I know) they never said anything about singing. We all have to deal with it, so let's do it together, with songs.

You can submit your song ideas on the website (apcdc.weebly.com) or on appropriate thread below. Deadline: April 21, noon ET. They should be related to money (finances, bills, charity, etc.), in some way.

We'll be up on the second floor at DC9 Nightclub. Singing starts around 7:30pm, but come early to enjoy the (enclosed) roof and happy hour. The big, sliding door halfway to the roof should be open by 7:10pm or so.

For those of you wondering what this is all about:

A People's Choir DC is a casual sing-along. It isn't a performance; it's a group effort. We play the actual songs (not the karaoke version, without the vocals), with lyrics on the music videos, and you can stand around or sit or dance...and sing.

If you don't know a song, no worries - make up the tune as you go or just sit it out. There is no sheet music at A People's Choir, only song lyrics, which we'll provide (on music videos and a few paper copies).

We don't care about your singing ability, just your enthusiasm - and we're pretty flexible in that area as well. Just show up and enjoy yourself! It's free. 21+. Note: This show takes place up one flight of stairs; please send us a message if you have questions about accessibility.
