Andy Suzuki & The Method

Andy Suzuki and Kozza Olatunji-Babumba (of NYC-based group Andy Suzuki & The Method) have been making music together for nearly a decade, and their brand of bluesy rock injected with futuristic production is one of the most compelling live shows you see in 2019.

The half-Japanese, half-Jewish Suzuki and hand-percussionist Kozza (grandson of percussion legend Babatunde Olatunji) first garnered attention with their buoyant, organic folk-pop album, Born out of Mischief, and soon found themselves supporting artists like Ringo Starr, Eric Hutchinson, Joshua Radin, Marc Broussard, Delta Rae, and Tyrone Wells. Fans fell hard for Suzuki's "velvet voice" (NPR) and the songwriting duo's “deadly way with melody" (Timeout New York). In 2017, Andy and Kozza enlisted the production talents of LA-based Juny Mag, and also brought in big guns Dominic Fallacaro, Will Hensley, Chris Gehringer— all Grammy winners— for recording, mixing and mastering their follow up album, The Glass Hour. This show is a celebration of their Jan 2019 third full-length release - the name of which will be released shortly.
