After their impressive entrance into the music landscape over the past 3 years, Melbourne (Aus) electronic duo Kllo are set to build on the incredible buzz they have built with the creation of their debut album out October 2017. The band’s last two EP’s have received over 28 million streams on Spotify. Singles from their last EP Well Worn were added to high rotation on Triple J, received spins on BBC Radio 1, while 'Walls to Build’ followed soon after, with the likes of Pitchfork and the Fader celebrating the newest cut off the EP. The EP was included in Apple Music's top electronic releases of 2016. Publications like XLR8R and inthemix included Kllo in their top artists of the year, with the duo also coming in at #18 on Hypemachine's 'Most Blogged Artists' list in 2016.
Their live-show has also developed considerably over the past year. The band have played a string of festival performances in Australia (including Splendour in the Grass, MMW & Beyond the Valley). Additionally, they have quickly made a name for themselves on the international front, with a huge world tour at the end of 2016 - following on from a 2015 tour which saw them appear at Primavera and the Great Escape. Spanning almost 3 months, across Europe & the US they played a run of headline shows - selling out appearances in London and New York - as well as scoring support slots for RüFüS and NAO. A second run earlier in 2017 saw them play festivals and headline shows across the UK & an appearance at Lightning in a Bottle Festival in California.
Kllo’s international presence is growing at a rapid pace as their respective teams in different territories all work with them to support this growth. The band are signed to PIAS in Europe, who have 16 offices globally, and Ghostly International in North America; one of America's most culturally relevant label with a cult following of electronic music lovers worldwide.
