Having spent the last decade relentlessly jamming and learning in parallel, brothers Eli and Jere Pafumi decided to stop ignoring the signs and put their creative efforts into what is now RitaRita - a psychedelic indie rock and blues driven recording project home grown within the very house they were raised.
RitaRita relies on the free-flowing format of ad libbed musical conversations. Fueled by the improvisational inspiration of Jimi Hendrix, The Grateful Dead, and Miles Davis, Jere and Eli grew up communicating through the language of music. Like other artist projects, RitaRita's sound is meticulously crafted in the studio and takes a band format with additional musicians when played live.
With brains that exist on the same wavelength, voices that sound alike and a mutual love for the same artists, the Pafumi brothers are at the perfect moment to tackle the next stage of their music-driven lifestyle. 2018 will see the release of RitaRita's debut LP. You can help fund the album on Kickstarter now.
Wild Love is a multinational pop band based in Washington D.C. Featuring addictive hooks and stunning vocal melodies, Wild Love pushes the boundaries of what music can/should be.
Frontman Brandon Gorman and bassist Saygin Gecener immigrated to the United States in 2013 and 2008 respectively. Having formed when the two met with drummer Nolan Speer, the band released their debut self-titled EP. As the years went by, Wild Love went through a few lineup changes. Their second EP 'Flow' was released on social media in the winter of 2014, but is scheduled for rerelease in the early spring of 2016. They have recently finished their tour of Ireland and are back to take the US by storm.
The current lineup of Brandon Gorman, Saygin Gecener, Joey Burcham, and Nolan Speer deliver an explosive live performance full of sex appeal and memorable songs that will leave their audiences singing long after the show is over.
With a knack for sonic exploration and honest, introspective lyrics, 19-year-old artist and multi-instrumentalist Blake Ruby blends many genres and styles to create sounds much more mature than his age suggests.
Growing up in Westminster, MD, Blake began to write and perform songs locally, but it wasn't until moving to Nashville to attend Belmont University that Blake's artistry began to form. He quickly made a mark with the "not I" EP, which he recorded and produced in his dorm room in the Spring of 2017. The songs implement tight grooves and introspective lyrics, each song being unique yet still coherent to the vision of the project.
Blake explains the purpose of the EP by saying, "I wrote these songs when I was learning a lot about myself, so I hope people will listen to them not just to learn about me, but to learn and understand themselves better. I'm not looking to just make people jump and dance, I want them to feel something, to feel a change of some sort."
