With their 1992 RCA debut, It's About Time, the all-female trio SWV scored a string of top ten R&B hits such as "I'm so into You", "Right Here", "Downtown", "Weak", and "You're Always on my Mind". This established the trio as a commercial force early in 1993. Teddy Riley helped the group craft their sound further with the remix to the hit "Right Here" that featured samples of Michael Jackson's hit, "Human Nature", which also went #1 on the R&B charts and #2 on the POP charts. SWV gained enormous attention with their auspicious debut. Among their list of honors were 11 Billboard Music Award nominations, and nominations for a Grammy, American Music Awards and The Source Award in 1993. Additionally, they won a Children's Choice Award and a BET "Best of Video Soul" Award.

SWV's "Anything" contribution to the sound track for the movie Above the Rim became a top R&B hit in the spring of 1994. The entire soundtrack released a number of top 10 smash hits, resulting in the multi-platinum status of the soundtrack's debut. In the spring of 1994, SWV released the remix version of "Anything", which went gold.

In 1996, SWV returned with another platinum album, New Beginning, which was preceded by the number one hit "You're the One" and The Neptune's hit "Use your Heart".

In 1997, SWV released their third album Release Some Tension, which spawned several top ten hits, such as "Someone" with Sean Puffy Combs, who produced the track and who was a featured artist on "Lose My Cool", a rhythmic duet between SWV and rap artist Redman; "Rain" a trademark torch ballad written and produced by the first album collaborator, Brian Alexander Morgan; and "Can We" featuring Missy Elliot and produced by Timberland, which was also featured on the Booty Call soundtrack.

SWV has appeared on The Arsenio Hall Show, New York Undercover, and Showtime at the Apollo, and their music has been included on several movie soundtracks such as Waiting to Exhale, Have Plenty, Booty Call, and Above the Rim.

Taj, Lelee, and Coko reunited in 2005 as SWV and have been performing non-stop ever since. They have toured with Dru Hill, Salt-N-Pepa, Silk, Jon B, Kelly Price, and Carl Thomas, traveling extensively all over the world.

In 2008, SWV was also an honored guest at the BET Awards performing with Alicia Keys, En Vogue and TLC.

SWV released their fourth studio album in over 15 years titled I Missed Us in 2012, and is gearing up to release their fifth album in 2016.

SWV is one the world's top selling female R&B groups, and is indeed striving continuously to be one of the hardest working female groups in the entertainment industry today!

-THE INTERNET began as two people – Syd and Matt. Syd taught herself how to record, engineer, and
produce at age 15. She also sings, imbuing every song with a sultry, mellifluous, quiet power. Matt
produces and plays synths. She’s now 23; he’s now 26. Like all post-modern relationships, the duo
initially met on Myspace in 2008, only to meet in-person three years later.

-THE INTERNET have released two albums previously – 2011’s Purple Naked Ladies, and 2012’s Feel
Good.

-THE INTERNET branched off from the Odd Future collective and started their own band in 2011. Syd
had been writing music since she was small; she put this on hold to become OF’s DJ and producer, and
picked her songs back up in 2011 to make her first full-length album with Matt.

-When they play live, THE INTERNET is a band – a six-person outfit whose youngest member is 17. They began playing as a full-band in order to tour behind Feel Good, and the band members all contributed their talents to THE INTERNET’s 2015 album EGO DEATH.

Guy featuring Teddy Riley

Guy was formed in Harlem, New York in 1987 by R&B singer-songwriters Teddy Riley, Aaron Hall, and Timmy Gatling. Riley and Gatling were childhood friends growing up in Harlem, and previously collaborated in the band Kids At Work. Hall was recruited to join what would become Guy. As well as writing songs for their own group, Riley and Hall collaborated on other songwriting and production projects, including Bobby Brown's "My Prerogative" and Johnny Kemp's "Just Got Paid”

The group signed to Andre Harrell's Uptown Records, and released their self-titled debut album Guy in June 1988. Five singles were released from the album, four of which became significant R&B hits. The singles, "'Round And 'Round (Merry-Go-Round of Love), (US R&B #24); "Groove Me", (US R&B #4); "Teddy's Jam", (US R&B #5); "I Like", (US R&B #2); and "Spend the Night", (US R&B #15), propelled the album to double platinum status off the strength of those R&B hits. Another song from the album, "Piece of My Love", also received a tremendous amount of airplay on R&B stations. The album impressively climbed to #27 on the US Top 200 Album Chart, and peaked at #1 on the R&B Album Chart.

In 1999, Riley and the Hall brothers reunited to release their first album in nine years titled “Guy III”. The album featured the modest hit "Dancin'", which peaked at #19 on the US Hot 100 chart, becoming surprisingly their biggest hit on the pop charts.

He recorded with creative funk music from 1988 to 1992 he was then picked up by CLR records in 1992 he was then picked up by American recordings in 1996 and released the chart topping single "Let Me Clear My Throat," which peaked at #8 in the UK Singles Chart in March 1997 and in 1996 in the U.S.[1] The song prominently featured a sample of "The 900 Number" by DJ Mark the 45 King, (that song featured a sample from Marva Whitney's "Unwind Yourself",[2] repeated over a breakbeat for six minutes). The song also began by sampling "Hollywood Swinging" by Kool and the Gang. The song is a recognizable dance floor-filler, and the track remains popular to this day.
