JOSHUA COOK AND THE KEY OF NOW (record release)
Joshua Cook is a devout soundcrafter of rock'n'roll, hard R&B, deep soul, and folk-blues.
"He’s an artist to the core, a creator and conveyer of passion, grace, humility. An animated and authentic storyteller. A wanderer with an eye for California and an ear for rock and roll. His vitality simmers in conversation as it is when he’s on stage, owning a sound he calls 'rock ‘n’ roll, deep soul, hard R&B.'" —The Bay Bridged.
The Love Dimension (CD EP release)
The Love Dimension is a psychedelic garage punk country surf band from San Francisco whose influences stem from an eclectic mix of music's past and future. Originally from the lost city of Atlantis, the band has prevailed through multiple reincarnations. In 2008, they returned to the Bay Area to create sonic architecture for the benefit of sentient beings across the multiverse.
With influences that span the musical universe, The Love Dimension sound is inspired by Spacemen 3, The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, Primal Scream, The Animals, Radiohead, The Yardbirds, Nirvana, Johnny Cash, Sleepy Sun, The Beatles, The Black Angels, Hank Williams, The Pixies, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, and many more amazing artists.
The band released their second album, Forget the Remember, on local SF label, Warrior Monk Records, and an EP, Not Until All Beings Are One, on the London based label, Smoky Carrot Records in late 2012. They are working on their third album, likely to be released in 2013, when they plan to tour more of the US and Europe.
The Funk-Pop girls of Snow Angel, doused with hard-hitting drums, bass, omnichord, guitar, keys and electric sitar, are back with more sunshine, funkier jams and full moon, crystal power in the year of the monkey! In short, a technicolor rainbow cheer party, sing-a-long, group hug with a happy ending.
Snow Angel is the brainchild of Gabby La La, who is most famous for touring with Les Claypool's Fancy Band. Claypool produced and released La La's first album "Be Careful What You Wish For..." on his record label in 2005.
